“The week of the rooftops” returns three years later and does so through Diskover

From June 10 to 19, 56 establishments in the city will offer nearly 150 activities on the occasion of Terrace Week 2022 in hotels

The week of the rooftops 2022 in Barcelona hotels will be a reality. From June 10 to 19, 56 establishments will allow access to their roofs. The president of the Gremi d’Hotels, Jordi Clos, has described the event as “one of the most iconic actions for hoteliers in the city and awaited by the people of Barcelona”. According to their figures, over 300,000 people have passed through it in 10 years.

From the City Council, the Councilor for Tourism and Creative Industries, Xavier Marcé, points out that the proposal links tourism with the cultural and gastronomic offer. Actions like these, he says, “are also designed to strengthen the openness and link between the hotels and the citizens of Barcelona”.

150 proposals with various themes

The pandemic forced the suspension of the event in both 2020 and 2021, two years that Clos considers to have been “tragic” and with “very limited” activity. Now, three years after the last edition, the Hotel Terraces Week in Barcelona returns with nearly 150 activities with various themes. There are cultural, creative, gastronomic, sports and wellness, musical and family activities proposals.
